Mr. Thaddeus H. Roachwood
Hello, ladies and gents. This is Thaddeus H. Roachwood, a true gentleman’s gentleman and a host without rival.
If you really must know, beezebeora inspired this guy. Roaches are generally considered disgusting pests, so I decided to make Roachwood, here, high class and well mannered.
Also felt like doing something that was both without lines and flat. It was actually harder than I gave it credit for, and I’m still not sure I did it justice, but right now I’m going to pretend I’m happy with it.
This is one of the very rare posts I make on this account that’s text, but since I HARDLY ever use the other one and I have more followers here, I figure this is the place to slap this down.
I just made a portfolio site last night. Not entirely certain it will have anything there that you wouldn’t find here or at deviantART, so it’s not like I’m urging you to bookmark it or anything (though I obviously wouldn’t have a problem with that 8D.)
I just wanted to share it. You’re free to comment on anything I put up there. Of course, keep your comments civil, since I’m going to be sending this out to potential employers and stuff D:
And this be the link!
Luna is a bad influence. Or a good one. I can’t figure out which.
Since they are different colors, I decided to put this one in mine.
Yoshi belongs to the Nintendos.
"We’re gonna need more sports tape."
I did this for Nuckles87 and Shigamado for Sonic Talk. Nux wanted me to join, but my internet sucks and I was being a jerk that day. (That’s not self depreciation. I wasn’t happy with the world at the time. xD I needed a nap. You know how it is.)
Anyway, here’s the link to the talk if you’re interested. Nux has a mouth on him, so beware.
Sonic Boom is a SEGA thing.

A while ago, I asked dcjosh what I could draw him for his birthday. Unfortunately, I was not able to complete it in time. In fact, This goes along with my habit of making very late birthday presents. I’m sure you may remember when I did a very late one for Mysticom some time last year. Well, I didn’t forget about it and I really wanted to do this for him. I don’t talk to him as often as I used to but he’s a really nice guy and a pretty good friend too.
I really put a lot of thought into this. I wanted to use a design for Devcon that would homage the original look and work in the IDW world too. I probably put too much thought into this, considering that that all a writer at IDW has to do is pull the bloke out of cold storage to give their spin on him, but heck, it was a fun exercise.
The idea here is that Devcon was a member of the Circle of Light once upon a time. Early on before they established the new Crystal City, the Circle abandoned one of their colonies due to the expansion of the war. As they were leaving, one of their ships was attacked by the DJD. Devcon was on this ship. The attack was sudden and brutal. Most died. All had their transformation cogs removed. Devcon swore revenge for the loss of his shipmates. Against the wishes of Dai Atlas, he left the Circle, but he kept his great sword to remind him of where he came from and those that were lost.
Without his tcog Devcon underwent several modifications that did away with several, now useless, parts and adopted an expanded arsenal beyond swords and knives. The result of these modifications brought about an increase in fuel efficiency, allowing him to outlast many of his marks. Devcon harbors a deep resentment towards all Decepticons, particularly the DJD. Rather than join the Autobots he took up work as a professional bounty hunter.
